Lucky Leprachaun 5k-2012 (Part I)
I just wrote a TON of text for this post....and I hit some random button....and it ALLLL got deleted. I am so frustrated right now. I am NOT typing it again. But here are some pictures from yesterday's race. Maybe when I get cooled off, I will write more. MAN sometimes I hate this computer.

I am so frustrated that all my text got deleted...but suffice to say this was an EXCELLENT day with great friends in a great place. I was excited to finish third overall for my age group of 30-39 year olds. The four guys behind me in one of the picture were in front of me for most of the race...I was trying a different strategy of going out nice and slow and NOT passing until 2.5 mile mark...it worked out well. Look at the picture of the three guys behind me....the fourth guy you can barely see...but look at the shadow: he is RIGHT behind me. Then, in the next pic, you can see the separation I made. I think running is the only thing in my life where I am totally competitive. Kind of funny, since everythign else in my life reflects my nervous and self conscious/no self esteem personality....
