Quick update as I am home for 20 minutes to grab some lunch (they dont feed the fathers at the hospital . . .not even on fathers day . . .wah wah wah) and pick up the "boppy" to bring back to Amanda.
Thanks everyone for your love and support! You will all meet him soon. I left in a rush and forgot the camera so I will post pics tomorrow when we are home. Maybe Kranthony can put some on their blog????

Callum latched on for the first time this morning, and fed from Amanda. The whole breastfeeding process has been the toughest part so far . . .very frustrating
I am back to the hospital. Just loving Thomas, feeding him, eating a salad, and grabbing the boppy. See you all soon

Hi guys! It was great to see you ALL at the hospital today...Amanda, you are looking fantastic, Callum is absolutely adorable, and Jared...well, Jared, you're great, too. :) I'll have lasagna and Shephard's Pie for you to eat, refrigerate, or freeze for the week - talk to you tomorrow!
He's beautiful! (I snuck over to Chris and Michelle's). Amanda, for the first couple of days I felt like a cow or a dairy bar. Nick nursed fine, but I just didn't have it in me after the exhausting experience of birth to fuss with nursing bras and the like... so it was a big flannel shirt (helped that it was November), unbuttoned and hanging all out. My BIL showed up to see us, and I said something about, hope you don't mind... Nope, I think he was actually kinda thrilled to see the big old milk full boobs hanging around. I hope it gets easier for you... It is such a great thing for you and Callum. Sorry dad you miss out on this aspect.

hello!! sorry we haven't had a chance to write a comment yet!! but we just wanted to say that Callum is such a handsome little boy and we're so excited for your new little family!!! I tried calling you tonight to see how you were settling back into your house with the new addition, but you didn't answer. But I'm sure you guys are just relaxing and enjoying being together, the three of you. I'll call you sometime tomorrow. Everyone looks good though and that new baby is so precious! can't wait to see him again very soon!! Have a good night, love you!
oh yeah, and I'll have some pictures loaded onto my computer tomorrow if anyone wants some!! Jonathan and I went up last night and took some. And also, I promise we'll make a blog posting soon, Jonathan and I have been so busy but there has been a lot going on these last few weeks!!!
Congratulations again. I was honored that you let me hold Callum, when I visited you guys at the hospital, on Sat. with Mel!! Its so amazing, isn't it? He is part of you two...... and....there's only one of him in the whole world!!
